Event Coordinator

We are in search of a cool, excitable and hard-working event coordinator to take charge in organizing highly impactful events and do the best work of their lives at Xccelerate !! You will be a critical knot that helps to hold our community together as we scale and deepen our value verticals. The event coordinator will work very closely with our events and marketing team to achieve team goals and milestones.

• Proactively plan wide variety of events such as panel discussions, educational workshops, seminars, guest speakers, graduation ceremonies
• Collaborate with Marketing Team and Sales Team to plan and execute all marketing activities necessary to ensure successful events
• Conducts short- and long-term planning and management for events
• Liaise with internal and external parties to support the execution of campaign and events
• Ensure smooth event staging by maintaining the venue operation, manpower and logistic arrangements
• Administers all phases of the event department, including but not limited to sales, planning, marketing, servicing, and administrative procedures.
• Ensure every event is completed smoothly and step up to resolve any problems that might occur
• Analyze the event’s success and prepare reports

• 2 years of relevant work experience in event management is preferred, candidates with less experience will be considered
• Bachelor Degree/ diploma is preferred
• Excellent spoken and written communication skill in English and Cantonese is a plus
• Fantastic communication, interpersonal and customer service skills is essential
• Strong time management and multitasking skills
• High energy, friendly/approachable personality, and self-motivated working attitude
• Proficient in MS Office Suite and Google Analytics is a plus
• Passion for education and creating social impact -HK Permanent Resident/ with the right to work in Hong Kong. (Visa sponsorship is NOT available for this position.)
