Dreamwriters is a self-publishing platform for young creative writers and artists. It helps children learn to read & write and foster their artistic expression. The deliverables for the team were to create an engaging gamification system that encourages different users to write stories and contribute artwork through a combination of competitions, challenges and rewards.

AVI-8 is a fashion watch brand, the products were inspired by military aircraft. The main goal of this project is to redesign the product page and strap & accessory page. However, to enhance the new experience of the new design to the fullest and be more streamlined, we also redesigned the landing page and added a few new features to the website.

# Project description

Genesis Block was founded in 2012 to serve the needs of the mining industry. Our main focus on this project was to develop their free learning platform in order to guide users from beginning to end with a fluid learning journey. We aim to increase on-page time, engagement and course completion rate. In order to get insights as to how users that were new to the field prefered to learn and digest complicated content, we conducted interviews with new staff (interns) at Genesis Block to get their views on how they first started learning about crypto and what methods of learning worked for them.

Genesis Block HK: Website redesign of crypto learning platform with clear user journey for crypto beginners. 

# Project description

DigiDoc is a one-stop text digitization solution for businesses which can convert documents, invoices or other physical text into an organised tabular format. It helps simplify the data entry process and reduce manual workload, thereby improving business costs and efficiency. Users simply input an image of the document and through our web application, can transform and download it as a txt or csv file. Our first step towards DigiDoc is to digitize restaurant menus smoothly for restaurant owners and online food delivery services. And then slowly transition towards other physical documents such as contracts and application forms. We've deployed our model onto Streamlit, try us out!

Mazen is a well-established eyewear manufacturer with more than 4000 employees, OEM-oriented across East and South Asia. Under the pandemic, they would like to launch an e-commerce platform to promote their own brand and products. Our objective is to help Mazen build their own brand identity and at the same time provide user-centered solutions to make their platform stand out from all competitors. To gain insight, we did some secondary research on our competitors and we also conducted more than 10 interviews and a follow-up survey, in order to see from users' perspectives.

Boundless: Design a e-commerce website for  a sustainable and unisex fashion  brand.

# Project description

Bridge AI is an online learning platform for special educational needs (SEN). The platform is aim to improve the efficiency and accessibility of the special needs education. We were invited by ASTRI to provide a UX and UI design solution for the platform. With the further integration of AI database and IoT sensors system, Bridge AI need a logical and simple to use design to accompany the new functions. The goal of the project  was to provide a new platform design to simplify users' daily workflow and provide data visualisation solutions for their AI and sensor data.

In Hong Kong, when it comes to buying special sneakers, customers prefer physical shops to online shops. It is because online shops vary in quality, customers have to take a large amount of time to do research so as to prevent from buying fake knockoffs or unreasonable markup. The risks decrease the customers' motivation for the online shops. Accordingly, the online special sneakers market in Hong Kong is less developed and it has huge potential of growth. KICKY was developed as an online special sneakers metasearch platform which allows customers to search and buy the sneakers at the best price through offers comparison. A partner grading system and use of AI can even guarantee the quality and suitability of the items listed on the platform.

KICKY: Create the first special sneakers price comparison website in Hong Kong.

The Executive Centre is a worldwide workspace provider. Their website serves as an information hub of all centres with virtual reality view of some prime locations. It is the main source of leads with integration to the sales force. However, the website is hard to navigate and the current bounce rate is around 62%. Our objective in this project is to redesign the website and improve the user experience. Our ultimate goal is to reduce bounce rate, increase leads and sales, and streamline user journey to conversion.

Most developers have a portfolio website, but many struggle to gain traffic and get noticed in a vast sea of developers. Unlike Github, which allows developers to share their code, Portfol.io lets developers showcase their work visually, as well as to discover and get inspired by fellow developers more easily. Portfol.io is a show-and-tell for developers, where users can create their own online profile, and present to the world their best projects with images.

Ate-Bite aims to solve the difficult decision-making process of groups of people deciding where to eat. Designed to be as efficient as possible, Ate-Bite features multiple functions on one page, including a searchable map with custom markers, a multi-user chatroom, a voting system and a real-time livefeed. This boosts up user interactions, without anyone losing track while everyone shares and makes decisions more quickly and easily.

# Project description

LOGO⅃ is an image generator that produces new logos in a snap. The logo generator is built upon Deep Convolutional Generative Adversarial Network (DCGAN). DCGAN is composed of two competing models, discriminator (D) and generator (G). The function of D is to distinguish if the input image is real or fake, while G has to generate image which is as real as human-designed logo so as to deceive D. With enough real life logos as training images, the GAN model is learning at a tremendous rate until it is able to generate decent logos consistently. Users can then surf through the sea of generated logos as an idea bank, or even directly choose a logo they like for further use.

iDECOR is a customized solution for furniture shoppers by wrapping furniture detection and recommendation system into a single, seamless process on Streamlit. This product leverages two deep learning technologies - 1) Detectron2 developed by Facebook to detect every possible furniture item in the user's uploaded image, and 2) VGG16 model to help narrow down most similar items to the detected item in terms of visual cues, and return them with top 5 items from our furniture product catalogue, in order to drive conversions to sales of furniture retailers by improving onsite recommendations. iDECOR is made available across 6 furniture products as the first step, and will expand to more brands/categories with API support in the future.

The system then sifts through 3,000+ pieces of clothing from 5 sustainable and ethical brands to bring you 5 items that will satisfy your shopping needs and fashion desires.

Uses image processing tools for cell detection and neural networks for classification of cell morphological phases. # Project description

MedBot is a chatbot capable of answering a variety of question types regarding different medical diseases or conditions. Users can ask about general information, symptoms, prognosis, treatment, etc. from reliable sources for over four thousand conditions. MedBot also tries its best to clarify user conversations for example if a medical term is misspelled. Our chatbot model has been deployed in RASA’s novel interactive learning framework Rasa X. In parallel with the development of the chatbot is a disease prediction model based on a symptoms. This is the first step toward augmenting MedBot into a full-fledged personalized healthcare platform. Other future prospects are features like medical service appointment booking, patient administration, and medical treatment reminders.

Right Hand provides a modern web platform for clients and handymen to promote themselves through professional profiles, projects and recommendations. The application looks at a client's friendship circle and matches them with handymen who have worked for similar people. Handymen are hence provided more credibility and clients are alleviated from the uncertainty that comes with hiring a handyman. The application also instantly generates quotations and provides an in-depth material database to streamline productions and keep both sides better informed.

As the name suggests, Mango Map attaches much importance to the map feature. Users can define a location in which they find worthy of exploration, and they can put a marker on the map to share it. Also, they can write a blog to promote the location publicly or share it with friends in the built-in chatroom that is highly interactive with the map. Therefore, Mango Map facilitates the gatherings between friends and couples by suggesting popular hang-out spots marked by others and provides a platform for users to communicate and schedule meetings.
