MedBot is a chatbot capable of answering a variety of question types regarding different medical diseases or conditions. Users can ask about general information, symptoms, prognosis, treatment, etc. from reliable sources for over four thousand conditions. MedBot also tries its best to clarify user conversations for example if a medical term is misspelled. Our chatbot model has been deployed in RASA’s novel interactive learning framework Rasa X. In parallel with the development of the chatbot is a disease prediction model based on a symptoms. This is the first step toward augmenting MedBot into a full-fledged personalized healthcare platform. Other future prospects are features like medical service appointment booking, patient administration, and medical treatment reminders.
