Event Description

Hands-on workshop on how to create a website in just 90 minutes.

Nowadays, more companies are transitioning over to technology platforms. Mastering web development skills or at least, understanding the basic structure of the online platforms seems to be a must-have skill set in the job market.

While building a website from scratch may seem difficult and irrelevant to someone who doesn’t have a tech background, there are many online resources to make it much easier and we are not talking about website builders’ templates here.

In this hands-on crash course, we will be utilizing HTML and CSS to build your first site in 90 minutes, since almost all websites incorporate the two markup languages. You will get an overview of application development and apply the knowledge learnt in your future career path.

Join now and apply key programming concepts by writing your first lines of code!

We will be discussing:

  • How HTML and CSS work
  • Discuss and build a static website together
  • Discuss the steps in entering the web development industry (and becoming a web developer!)
  • Discuss other potential career opportunities in technology
  • Q & A

Language: English

*Please bring a Laptop to enrich your learning experience.
