Reindustrialisation and Technology Training Programme (RTTP) is a government subsidized funding scheme, under the Innovation and Technology Fund, that reimburses upto 66% of fees on Xccelerate courses for enterprises.

Application Process

Five Simple Steps to get reimbursement approval

  1. Search for Xccelerate and apply to our registered RTTP courses on the Vocational Training Council (VTC) Registered Public Courses Page

  1. Register a company account accordingly

*If you cannot access to the sign-up page, click here Account Sign-up Page
*A soft copy of the company’s BRC would be required for registration

  1. Receive an approved VTC account after one week of registering.
  2. Apply for the course(s)

*Document needed for your application: a copy of the Hong Kong Identity Card for participants taking the course

Frequently Asked Questions

  1. Is there limit to the reimbursement
  2. Each company is subject to a funding ceiling of HK$500,000 in each financial year at the time of approving the application.

  3. How will the applications be processed?
  4. Companies interested in applying for training grant for their employee(s) to attend registered public courses should apply via the online system at least two weeks before the commencement of the courses.

  5. What type of organisation is eligible to apply for the training grant?
  6. A company is eligible to apply for training grant for its employee(s) if:

    I) It is registered in Hong Kong under the Business Registration Ordinance (Cap. 310);

    II) It is a non-government and non-subvented organisation; and

    III) The employee nominated is a Hong Kong permanent resident with the necessary background/experience relevant to the advanced technology of the training course.

  7. When will I receive my reimbursement?
  8. There are two types of payments that can be made for the reimbursement

    • Participants can either receive the full reimbursement amount six to eight weeks after sending necessary payments and completing the course
    • Partial Advance Payment of Approved Training Grant: Participants will receive half of their reimbursement amount around 2 weeks after payments are made and the other half 6 to 8 weeks after the completion of the course.
